Introduction

Rajasthan’s capital, Jaipur, is home to a beautiful garden called Kanak Vrindavan. Situated at the base of the Nahargarh hill, it is accessible from the Amer Fort and is nestled in a valley encircled by the Aravali hills.

Where is it?

The park is located roughly 8 km north of central Jaipur, making it a convenient escape from the city's hustle and bustle. It is nestled in a valley surrounded by Aravali hills at the foot of Nahargarh hill and is reachable from the Amer Fort. The distance from Jaipur to the spot is about 8 km. The garden has many nearby tourist attractions, such as the Amer Fort Palace, Nahargarh Fort, and Jaigarh Fort, which have lush greenery. The park also provides a variety of facilities, including a children's play area, a jogging track, and a picnic spot.

How can you go there?

When I go to the park, I usually take my Activa, a popular mode of transportation in India, because it is a quick and easy way to get there. However, there are other alternatives. For example, riding a rickshaw offers a distinct and more relaxed experience, and it lets me enjoy the scenery.

How frequently do you go there?

Spending my weekend there was a cherished tradition for me in the past, but now I am unable to visit the park every week because of my busy schedule.

And explain why this is your favourite park.

One of Kanak Vrindavan Park's best features is its beautiful, green environment, which gives me clean air. I go for leisurely walks on the long pathway inside to relax and relieve the exhaustion from the week.

Conclusion

With its lush greenery, well-maintained pathways, and tranquil ponds, this park provides a peaceful getaway from the rush of urban life. Whether you want to take a stroll, picnic with friends and family, or simply relax under trees, this park has something for everyone.

You can quickly go there in a two-wheeler or four-wheeler vehicle, or if you don’t want to drive, you can take public transport.

Describe a park or a garden in your city cue card- sample answer 3

Introduction

One of my favourite parks in my city is the "Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh." It's a serene and scenic park in the city's heart, providing a soothing and relaxing environment to spend your leisure time with your loved ones.

Where is it?

The Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh is considered a token of appreciation for his second queen; Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II constructed the palace garden ten kilometres from Jaipur on the Jaipur–Agra route. Of all the gardens in Jaipur, the Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh is a heritage garden and the biggest, captivating and striking.

How can you go there?

Due to its excellent transportation network, the Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh can be readily accessed from any part of Jaipur city. To get to the garden, one can hire taxis, autorickshaws, and e-rickshaws or rent a cab (Uber, Ola, etc.). For a fair fare, you can quickly get here by the nearby state buses. Those on a tight budget should choose this option.

How frequently do you go there?

Earlier, I used to visit the garden every Sunday or occasionally go on picnics with my cousins on weekends. However, now I only visit the park once a month.

And explain why this is your favourite park.

The Sisodia Rani Bagh is an ideal escape from busy daily life. In reality, it was designed as a haven for the Queen, allowing her to take a break from the intrigues of the court. It's interesting that this location is still serene and continues to protect visitors from the stress of everyday life.

Conclusion

The open space, green grass, trees, and other natural features improve mood, reduce stress, or increase feelings of overall relaxation. One of the most prominent benefits parks and outdoor spaces offer is a place for people to exercise regularly.

IELTS Speaking Part 3- Follow-Up Questions

Question: What do you believe these parks' futures hold?

Answer: I sincerely hope that these parks are loved and well-maintained. If there were more of these parks worldwide showcasing and conserving nature's incredible creations, that would be fantastic. We can still trust in rooftop gardens despite the rapid growth of cities.

Question: What is your position about roof gardens in terms of natural habitats?

Answer: It could be challenging to design livable roof gardens for each person since they would want to customise them and may employ non-local species that could confuse nearby wildlife. Ecologists need to carefully plan the gardens with local species in mind for this idea to succeed. This is feasible, but it would require careful execution and continuous monitoring.

Question: What additional happy recollections of this park do you possess?

Answer: My family and I used to go on picnics on the weekends. I used to take my painting supplies outside to paint. Other times, after we ate, I would play tag with my family. My family and I enjoyed stringing daisies and buttercups into flower chains. I wore a crown of flowers, which we only took off once we got home. These are a few more pleasant recollections.

Question: What instructive things may this park teach us?

Answer: Undoubtedly, this park offers us a number of important lessons. First, it is clear how important it is to protect the environment and establish green spaces in urban areas. This park serves as an example of how these areas, which offer a tranquil escape from the busy city life, enhance community well-being.

Question: Do you think people ought to contribute to the upkeep of public gardens and parks?

Answer: In my opinion, people have a significant obligation to preserve public parks and gardens. Doing so would not only help them lead healthier lifestyles but also offer various benefits, including clean air, a clean environment, and a place to socialise.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the IELTS speaking exam could include a wide variety of cue card subjects. It is essential to take notes and offer potential topics of conversation as soon as possible. Speaking with more confidence helps candidates sound more natural and smooth.
