So, without any further delay, let’s get right to it!
Whenever I hear about an activity that has made me feel tired, the first thought that comes to my mind is a trip to a very popular place amongst Hindus. Even though the experience was tiring, it was equally rewarding.
The incident took place at a pilgrimage site called Vaishno Devi, located in Katra, a city in Jammu and Kashmir. My family and I decided to visit the place in 2011 and experience the journey thoroughly.
I took part in the activity because it was a planned trip. All of us as a family decided to continue with the trek the traditional way, no matter how much time it took. We planned on covering the distance in a day, but we had to make a pit stop and rest for the night in between.
The activity was to trek to the temple on foot from the city of Katra. The temple is located on the Trikuta mountain at an elevation of 5000 feet. The Vaishno Devi Temple is 17.3 km from the main city, where people usually go by horse, helicopter, or walking.
The trekking bit made me feel tired because we were trekking at an elevation where the climate was uncertain, and the walk was long. A person who is not prone to walking would obviously feel tired when asked to walk for 17.3 km.
I was not prepared for this kind of long and difficult trek. After this incredible excursion, I was psychologically and physically exhausted but also felt accomplished.
To conclude, even though the journey was tiring and extremely long after reaching the destination, it was all worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed the activity.

Various activities can make a person tired. In some instances, a person can get tired even after doing a job they are super interested in. I will share a similar incident that made me feel tired but equally satisfied.
The incident took place in Indore at my college, where I was part of an MUN organising committee. A group of students, including me, were responsible for organising a MUN for the college in which students from different colleges and schools were to participate.
I took part in the activity because I saw a chance to improve my organisational skills and learn how to coordinate with people. I took that opportunity as a chance to work on myself.
The activity was to organise a MUN conference with different houses and topics for my college. There were different departments divided among the students, and I was part of the core team. As part of the core team, I was given various responsibilities like decorating, calling the students, and coordinating with them on the day of the MUN.
I felt tired because I was trying to manage a lot of things at once, and my team members were not contributing to the work as much as they had to. In addition, the time given to us students was less, as we needed to do a lot in a limited time frame.
I felt relieved after the conference was over. Although there were many things that we had to improve for the next conference, the experience was worth it. Further, the college authorities praised us for the conference's success, and everything went smoothly.
To conclude, I would say that organising any event takes rigorous planning and hard work. The overall process might exhaust us, but also make us feel like achievers.

Question- How did you feel immediately after completing the activity, and did your feelings change over time?
Answer- I experienced a wave of tiredness and a deep sense of pride and satisfaction in my achievement as I finished the task. Knowing that I had surmounted the obstacle and finished my job instantly filled me with a sense of relaxation and achievement. However, as time passed and the psychological and physical costs of the exercise became more obvious, my feelings started to shift.
Question- Did you receive support or encouragement from others while participating in the activity?
Answer- Yes, I consider myself lucky to have a circle of friends and colleagues who have encouraged and supported me while I've been volunteering. They've given me motivation, moral support, and camaraderie, which has allowed me to put in the long hours I've needed to assist with MUN planning, especially after it was a success.
Question- Were there any unexpected obstacles or difficulties you encountered while participating in the activity?
Answer- Unexpected challenges that arose during the exercise added to the difficulty and increased my level of fatigue. For instance, the weather suddenly changed on the way up, and we were greeted with intense rain and wind. The unexpected downpour had made the tracks muddy and sticky, making it harder for us to move across the ground and greatly slowing down our pace.
Question- Can you describe any specific moments during the activity that were particularly challenging or demanding?
Answer- Identifying one single time might be particularly challenging when explaining a specific challenge or impediment experienced throughout the activity. For instance, on our way out, we encountered a difficult section of the route that required us to struggle up an almost steeply inclined slope. Because of the hazardous terrain, great caution has to be used at every turn.
Question- Have you ever wondered how the issue of elderly individuals becoming fatigued quickly can be resolved?
Answer- It is necessary to manage elderly tiredness. Getting adequate sleep ensures rejuvenation, and moderate exercise regularly can help boost endurance. Another advantage of a healthy, vitamin- and mineral-rich diet is increased energy. Exhaustion can be reduced by taking up hobbies or practising meditation as a stress reliever. Therefore, keeping vitality as one ages demands physical activity, relaxation, and a nutritious diet. Never forget that the secret to overcoming weariness is to look for oneself.
